The effect of endovascular interventional embolization in the treatment of cerebral aneurysm
Objective To explore the clinical effect of endovascular interventional embolization in the treatment of cerebral aneurysm. Methods 50 patients with cerebral aneurysm were grouped in to a reference group(25 cases, traditional craniotomy)and a study group(25 cases, endovascular interventional embolization)according to the coin tossing method. The therapeutic effect, incidence of postoperative complications, surgical indicators and quality of life score of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the reference group(68.00% ),the total effective rate of the study group(96.00% )was significantly higher(P<0.05).Compared with the reference group(32.00% ),the incidence of postoperative complications in the study group(4.00% )was significantly decreased(P<0.05).The study group had operation time of(2.19±0.69)h and hospitalization time of(11.36±1.99)d,which were shorter than(2.99±0.75)h and(18.13±2.09)d in the reference group;the intraoperative blood loss of(38.95±13.25)ml in the study group was less than(250.12±69.29)ml in the reference group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in scores of social function, vitality, physiological function, health status and overall score between the two groups(P>0.05).However,after treatment, the scores of social function, vitality, physiological function, health status and overall score of patients in the study group were(85.32±3.15),(89.66±2.25),(88.63±2.25),(88.29±4.25)and(86.33±4.25)points,which were significantly better than(70.44±2.15),(75.46±2.25),(75.65±3.15),(75.66±3.25)and(72.39±2.25)points in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of endovascular interventional embolization in the treatment of cerebral aneurysm patients can improve the efficacy, safety and quality of life, and improve a series of clinical surgical indicators.
