The effect of low-dose aripiprazole combined with olanzapine on clinical efficacy and cognitive function in patients with schizophrenia
Objective To observe the effect of low-dose aripiprazole combined with olanzapine in the treatment of schizophrenia patients,and analyze its influence on cognitive function of patients.Methods 60 patients with schizophrenia were selected as subjects of the study and divided into a control group(30 cases)and an observation group(30 cases)according to the odd-even number of medical record number.The control group received low-dose aripiprazole treatment,and the observation group received olanzapine treatment based on the control group.The clinical efficacy,clinical symptoms,mental state,sleep quality and cognitive function before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 86.67%,which was significantly higher than 63.33% of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of thinking disorder,emotional disorder and abnormal perception in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment;the scores of thinking disorder,emotional disorder and abnormal perception in the observation group were(2.10±0.67),(2.25±0.54)and(2.52±0.60)points,which were significantly lower than(3.46±0.72),(3.63±0.81)and(3.89±0.78)points in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of mental anxiety,affective communication disorder and anxious motor in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment;the scores of mental anxiety,affective communication disorder and anxious motor in the observation group were(2.85±0.61),(2.67±0.52)and(2.37±0.32)points,which were significantly lower than(3.96±0.70),(3.87±0.65)and(3.59±0.40)points in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of sleep difficulty,sleep satisfaction and sleep problems in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment;the scores of sleep difficulty,sleep satisfaction and sleep problem in the observation group were(1.86±0.17),(1.40±0.12)and(1.42±0.23)points,which were significantly lower than(2.62±0.20),(2.72±0.15)and(2.68±0.30)points in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of attention,memory,verbal fluency,verbal vision and spatial cognition in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment;the scores of attention,memory,verbal fluency,verbal vision and spatial cognition in the observation group were(69.24±3.61),(71.10±4.91),(72.19±3.81),(69.27±5.46)and(70.28±5.95)points,which were significantly higher than(62.80±4.73),(63.72±3.68),(65.37±5.02),(62.00±4.76)and(63.77±3.83)points in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of low-dose aripiprazole combined with olanzapine in the treatment of schizophrenia is good,which can improve the clinical symptoms,mental state,sleep quality and cognitive function of patients,and can be further promoted.
