Analysis of the application effect of pursed lip breathing and abdominal breathing in rehabilitation training for patients with chronic respiratory failure
Objective To analyze the effect of pursed lip breathing and abdominal breathing in rehabilitation training for patients with chronic respiratory failure. Methods 120 patients with chronic respiratory failure were given rehabilitation training and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 60 cases in each group. The experimental group received pursed lip breathing and abdominal breathing, while the control group received routine breathing training. The treatment time, hospitalization time, satisfaction and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment time and hospitalization time of the experimental group were(10.5±2.3)and(15.8±3.1)d,which were shorter than(13.2±2.8)and(18.9±3.7)d of the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction of the experimental group was 91.7%,which was significantly higher than 75.0% of the control group(P<0.05).The complication rate of the experimental group was 5.0%,which was lower than 16.7% of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of pursed lip breathing and abdominal breathing in rehabilitation training shows significant advantages in patients with chronic respiratory failure. This strategy can not only effectively improve the patient's respiratory function, accelerate the rehabilitation process, but also reduce the risk of complications.
