Analysis of the diagnostic accuracy and specificity of transvaginal ultrasonography for ectopic pregnancy
Objective To analyze the diagnostic accuracy and specificity of transvaginal ultrasonography for ectopic pregnancy. Methods 60 patients with suspected ectopic pregnancy were selected as study subjects, and transabdominal ultrasonography was taken first, followed by transvaginal ultrasonography. The detection of ultrasound image, diagnostic efficiency, and blood flow parameters of the two examinations were compared. Results The detection rates of transvaginal ultrasonography for intrauterine pseudo-gestational sacs, adnexal masses, and yolk sacs were 48.33%,36.67%and 38.33%,which were significantly higher than 18.33%,20.00%and 16.67%of transabdominal ultrasonography(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the detection rate of germ between the two examinations(P>0.05).In transabdominal ultrasonography, the accuracy, specificity, and sensitivity were 73.33%(44/60),54.55%(18/33),and 96.30%(26/27);in transvaginal ultrasonography, the accuracy, specificity, and sensitivity were 90.00%(54/60),87.88%(29/33),and 92.59%(25/27),indicating that the accuracy and specificity of transvaginal ultrasonography were significantly higher than that of transabdominal ultrasonography(P<0.05).The arterial pulse index was(0.91±0.23)and the resistance index was(0.58±0.13)by transvaginal ultrasonography, which were significantly higher than(0.60±0.15)and(0.41±0.12)by transabdominal ultrasound(P<0.05).Conclusion In patients with ectopic pregnancy, transvaginal ultrasonography has a high diagnostic efficiency, which is convenient to identify the condition in time, and provides scientific reference for the treatment of the disease, which is worth clinical reference.
