Comparison of the value of TVS and TAS in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy
Objective To analyze the value of transvaginal sonography(TVS)and transabdominal sonography(TAS)in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy(EP).Methods 64 patients with suspected ectopic pregnancy were selected for TVS and TAS respectively.Pathologic findings were used as the gold standard to compare the sonographic features as well as the diagnostic efficacy of the two methods. Results The detection rates of TVS for pelvic effusion, adnexal mass, gestational sac or embryo and fetal heart beat were 73.44%,73.44%,60.94%and 26.56%,which were significantly higher than 54.69%,56.25%,29.69%and 12.50%of TAS(P<0.05).The diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy of TVS were 91.84%and 79.69%,which were significantly higher than 71.43%and 62.50%of TAS(P<0.05).Conclusion TVS and TAS have significant diagnostic value for ectopic pregnancy, which is conducive to the early diagnosis of the disease, and the diagnostic efficiency is high.It is worthy of clinical adoption and reference.
