Objective To explore the role of strengthening pharmaceutical management in promoting rational drug use.Methods 10 pharmacists and 500 prescriptions from our hospital from January to June 2022 were selected as the control group,and 10 pharmacists and 500 prescriptions from our hospital from July to December 2022 were selected as the observation group.The control group was given routine management,while the observation group was given strengthened pharmaceutical management.Comparison of the occurrence of drug management events,irrational drug use,and adverse reactions between the two groups.Results The incidence of drug management events was 2.40%in the observation group and 5.80%in the control group;the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of irrational drug use was 3.40%in the observation group and 7.00%in the control group;the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 0.40%in the observation group and 1.80%in the control group;the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Strengthening pharmaceutical management has a positive impact on promoting rational drug use and is worth promoting and applying.
