Evaluation of the effect of self-etching adhesive combined with composite resin for filling repair of dental caries of deciduous teeth
Objective To explore the clinical effect of self-etching adhesive combined with composite resin for filling repair of dental caries of deciduous teeth. Methods A total of 125 children with dental caries of deciduous teeth were selected and divided into a reference group(n=62)and a study group(n=63)by coin-tossing method. The reference group received total-etching adhesive+composite resin for filling repair, and the study group received self-etching adhesive+composite resin for filling repair. The percentage of treatment time of 5 min and 10 min for 1 tooth, treatment effects and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The treatment time of 5 min and 10 min for 1 tooth in the study group were 47.62% and 31.75%,which were higher than 29.03% and 16.13% in the reference group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of 98.41% in the study group was higher than 83.87% in the reference group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications of 3.17% in the study group was significantly lower than 14.52% in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion In the filling repair of children with dental caries of deciduous teeth with self-etching adhesive+composite resin, the percentage of treatment time of 5 or 10 min for 1 tooth and the treatment effect are significantly improved, and the incidence of periapical disease and endodontics is reduced, and the prognosis is good.
