A study of the correlation of HBV-DNA levels with its liver function and hepatitis B markers in patients with chronic hepatitis B
Objective To explore the correlation of hepatitis B virus deoxyribonucleic acid(HBV-DNA)levels with its liver function and hepatitis B markers in patients with chronic hepatitis B.Methods 95 chronic hepatitis B patients were selected as the observation group, and 95 healthy subjects in the same period were selected as the control group. All of them were subjected to HBV-DNA quantitative test, liver function test, and hepatitis B markers[hepatitis B virus surface antigen(HBsAg),hepatitis B virus e antigen(HBeAg),hepatitis B virus e antibody(HBeAb),hepatitis B virus core antibody(HBcAb)]test.Comparison was made on HBV-DNA expression levels of patients with different hepatitis B marker expression,HBV-DNA and HBeAg positivity rate in the observation group,as well as liver function indexes between the two groups. Results Among 95 patients with chroic hepatitis B,45 cases(47.37% )were HBV-DNA positive.According to the positive pattern of hepatitis B markers, the observation group had 20 cases of HBsAg(+),HBeAg(+)and HBcAb(+),16 cases(80.00% )of HBV-DNA positivity, with a quantitative level of 2.24×108 IU/ml;62 cases of HBsAg(+),HBeAb(+)and HBcAb(+),and 21 cases(33.87% )of HBV-DNA positivity, with a quantitative level of 4.18×106 IU/ml;10 cases of HBsAg(+),HBeAg(+),HBcAb(+)and HBcAb(+),7 cases(70.00% )of HBV-DNA positivity, with a quantitative level of 1.83×107 IU/ml;3 cases of HBsAg(+)and HBcAb(+),1 case(33.33% )of HBV-DNA positivity, with a quantitative level of 9.48×105 IU/ml.The difference in HBV-DNA positivity rate of patients with different hepatitis B marker expression in the observation group was statistically significant(P<0.05),in which the HBV-DNA positivity rate and quantitative level of patients with the group of HBsAg(+),HBeAg(+),HBcAb(+)and group of HBsAg(+),HBeAg(+),HBeAb(+),HBcAb(+)were higher than those of other types.Among 95 patients in the observation group,45 cases(47.37% )were positive for HBV-DNA and 50 cases(52.63% )were negative. There were 30 cases(31.58% )of HBeAg(+)and 65 cases(68.42% )of HBeAg(-).The HBV-DNA positivity rate in the observation group was higher than HBeAg positivity rate, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.957,P<0.05).The levels of alanine aminotrasferase(ALT),aspartate transaminase(AST)and glutamyl transpeptidase(GGT)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group;the levels of AST,ALT and GGT in the observation group continued to increase with the increase of HBV-DNA quantitative level;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In clinical detection of hepatitis B virus replication in chronic hepatitis B patients, the HBV-DNA positivity rate is higher than that of hepatitis B markers, and the quantitative level of HBV-DNA is related to liver function damage. Therefore, quantitative detection should be carried out regularly to evaluate the disease and treatment effect by clarifying the virus replication of patients, and assist in the adoption of a reasonable treatment program.
