Study on the clinical value of different doses of statins for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction
Objective To study the clinical value of different doses of statins for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction. Methods 80 patients with acute myocardial infarction were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each with 40 cases. Both groups were treated with atorvastatin calcium tablets at a dose of 20 mg/d in the control group and 40 mg/d in the observation group.Patients in both groups were compared in terms of therapeutic effect, blood lipid indexes[total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)],cardiac function(left ventricular end-diastolic diameter, left ventricular ejection fraction),and serum myocardial injury indexes[superoxide dismutase(SOD),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)].Results The total effective rate of 95.00% in the observation group was significantly higher than 75.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,HDL-C of(2.39±1.66)mmol/L in the observation group was higher than(1.54±0.21)mmol/L in the control group;the observation group had TC of(3.89±1.06)mmol/L,TG of(1.06±0.34)mmol/L and LDL-C of(2.11±0.21)mmol/L,which were lower than(8.21±1.69),(2.79±1.46)and(4.19±0.89)mmol/L in the control group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter,CK-MB,and LDH decreased in both groups, and the magnitude of decline in left ventricular end-diastolic internal diameter,CK-MB,and LDH in the observation group were greater than those in the control group;the left ventricular ejection fraction and SOD all increased, and the magnitude of increase in left ventricular ejection fraction and SOD in the observation group were greater than those in the control group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of acute myocardial infarction with 40 mg/d of atorvastatin calcium can significantly reduce blood lipid levels, alleviate cardiac function and improve myocardial damage, which is worthy of reference.
