Exploration of the application value of central venous catheter in clinical treatment of medical oncology
Objective To study and explore the role of central venous catheter(CVC)in clinical treatment of medical oncology. Methods 480 patients in the medical oncology department who were hospitalized for treatment were divided into an observation group and a control group using a computer-generated randomization method, each with 240 cases. The control group received peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC)regimen, and the study group received CVC regimen. The two groups were compared in terms of placement of catheters, incidence of complications, quality of life, and patient satisfaction. Results The observation group had operation time of(16.91±4.03)min and indwelling time of(24.17±6.91)d,which were shorter than(21.52±2.10)min and(95.72±29.24)d in the control group;the success rate of one-time catheterization of 93.75% in the observation group was higher than 81.67% in the control group;the difference was significant(P<0.05).The complication rate of 11.67% in the observation group was lower than 42.92% in the control group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The scores of physiological function, bodily pain, emotional function, social function and overall health in the observation group were(96.72±1.38),(96.55±1.77),(95.82±1.33),(96.18±1.37)and(95.86±1.33)points,which were higher than(80.05±1.37),(80.33±1.59),(80.28±1.76),(80.36±1.99)and(80.18±1.77)points in the control group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The comprehensive satisfaction rate of 91.67% in the observation group was higher than 62.08% in the control group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of CVC in the clinical treatment of medical oncology has positive significance. This method has advantages such as simple and fast operation, high safety. It can not only enhance the prevention of complications, but also help improve the quality of life of patients and improve doctor-patient relationships, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
