The value of DR examination in night emergency rib fractures
Objective To explore the application value of digital radiography(DR)examination in night emergency rib fractures.Methods 52 patients with suspected rib fractures admitted to the emergency department at night were selected as the study subjects,and all of them underwent DR examination;the radiographic quality of DR examination,the diagnostic efficacy of DR examination in rib fracture,and the diagnostic conformity of DR examination for different types of rib fracture were observed and analyzed.Results Among the 52 patients with suspected rib fracture,there were 32 excellent-grade images,accounting for 61.54%,19 good-grade images,accounting for 36.54%,1 unqualified image,accounting for 1.92%,and 0 waste images.The qualified image rate was 98.08%.Taking the surgical results as the gold standard,48 out of 52 patients with suspected rib fracture were diagnosed as rib fracture,and 45 cases were detected as rib fracture by DR examination,and the positive detection rate of DR examination was 86.54%(45/52),and 43 cases were confirmed by surgery;7 cases were negative,and 5 cases were confirmed by surgery;the diagnostic sensitivity was 89.58%(43/48),the diagnostic specificity was 50.00%(2/4),and the diagnostic accuracy was 86.54%(45/52).The diagnostic conformity rate of DR examination for patients with depressed rib fractures was 92.31%(12/13),and the diagnostic conformity rate of DR examination for patients with cleft rib fractures was 100.00%(45/52).The diagnostic conformity rate of DR examination for patients with depressed rib fractures was 92.31%(12/13),for cleft rib fractures was 100.00%(6/6),and for patients with dislocated rib fractures was 86.21%(25/29).The diagnostic conformity rate of DR examination was 92.31%(24/26)for anterior rib fractures,88.89%(16/18)for posterior rib fractures,and 75.00%(3/4)for axillary segment fractures.Conclusion DR examination has a high detection rate in night emergency rib fractures,with high diagnostic sensitivity,specificity and accuracy,and has a high detection rate in different types of rib fractures,which makes it valuable for application.
