Analysis of the promoting effect of Zhongwan acupoint application combined with Shenque acupoint packaging on postoperative exhaust after cesarean section
Objective To explore the effect of Zhongwan acupoint application combined with Shenque acupoint packaging in promoting postoperative exhaust after cesarean section. Methods 66 parturients who underwent cesarean section were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a study group and a control group, with 33 cases in each group. The control group received routine postpartum care, while the study group received Zhongwan acupoint application combined with Shenque acupoint packaging on the basis of the control group. Both groups were compared in terms of time for the first bowel sounds, first defecation, first anal exhaust, length of hospital stay, recovery effect of gastrointestinal function, and occurrence of gastrointestinal-related complications. Results In the study group, the time for the first bowel sounds, first defecation, first anal exhaust, length of hospital stay were(15.68±4.20)h,(36.23±6.12)h,(24.10±6.55)h,and(7.57±1.22)d,which were shorter than(22.60±5.65)h,(51.85±8.26)h,(38.20±7.61)h,and(10.33±2.76)d in the control group(P<0.05).The excellent recovery rate of gastrointestinal function was 87.88%in the study group and 54.55%in the control group;the excellent recovery rate of gastrointestinal function in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of gastrointestinal complications was 6.06%in the study group and 30.30%in the control group;the incidence of gastrointestinal complications in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Zhongwan acupoint application and Shenque acupoint packaging can effectively promote postoperative anal exhaust, shorten length of hospital stay, and accelerate postoperative recovery after cesarean section.
