Efficacy comparison of hysteroscopic electrotomy and curettage in the treatment of abnormal uterinebleeding
Objective To compare the effect of hysteroscopic electrotomy and curettage in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding. Methods 80 patients with abnormal uterine bleeding were divided into a reference group and an experimental group using a random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. Patients in the reference group were treated with hysteroscopic curettage, and patients in the experimental group were treated with hysteroscopic curettage. The surgical related indicators, clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results The intraoperative blood loss of (82.41±8.59) ml in the experimental group was less than (99.89±9.88) ml in the reference group;the operative time and hospital stay were (24.51±2.33) min and (3.12±0.12) d in the experimental group, which were shorter than (31.25±2.41) min and (4.23±0.34) d in the reference group;there was statistical difference (P<0.05). The total effective rate of 97.50% in the experimental group was higher than 82.50% in the reference group, and there was statistical difference (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse events of 2.50% in the experimental group was lower than 20.00% in the reference group, and there was statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Hysteroscopic electrotomy in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding can improve clinical efficacy, with less intraoperative blood loss and low incidence of adverse events,so it is worthy of clinical application.
