Analysis of the value of urine sediment occult blood test for diagnosis of urinary system diseases
Objective To compare the application value of urine sediment occult blood test for diagnosis of urinary system diseases. Methods 90 patients with suspected urinary system diseases were selected to undergo urine sediment occult blood test and urine analyzer test respectively. The results (positive detection rates of red blood cells, white blood cells, urinary proteins and tubular patterns) and diagnostic efficacy (sensitivity, specificity and accuracy) of the two tests were compared. Results Of the 90 patients, urine sediment occult blood test results showed that 65 cases were positive for red blood cells,63 cases were positive for white blood cells,50 cases were positive for urinary proteins, and 18 cases were positive for tubular patterns;urine analyzer test results showed that 64 cases were positive for red blood cells,62 cases were positive for white blood cells,48 cases were positive for urinary proteins, and 10 cases were positive for tubular pattern. Comparison of the positive detection rates of red blood cells, white blood cells, urinary proteins, and tubular patterns between the two tests showed that the differences were not significant (P>0.05). Of the 90 patients,88 cases were finally diagnosed with urinary system diseases. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of urine sediment occult blood test in the diagnosis of urinary system diseases were 92.05% (81/88),50.00% (1/2),and 91.11% (82/90). The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of the urine analyzer test in the diagnosis of urinary system diseases were 84.09% (74/88),50.00% (1/2),and 83.33% (75/90). The difference in the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the two tests was not significant (P>0.05). Conclusion Urine sediment occult blood test and urine analyzer test have certain application value in the diagnosis and monitoring of urinary system diseases, although there are some slight differences between the two in terms of sensitivity, specificity and accuracy, but there is no obvious superiority or inferiority in practical application.
