Meta-analysis of the treatment of tubal obstructive infertility by combination of acupuncture and medicine
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of combination of acupuncture and medicine in the treatment of tubal obstructive infertility. Methods By searching SinoMed,CNKI,Wanfang,and VIP,clinical research literatures on the combination of acupuncture and medicine in the treatment of tubal obstructive infertility published from January 2018 to December 2022 were collected,and Meta-analysis was performed on the included literatures using Revman5.3 software. Results 26 papers were included,and Meta-analysis showed that the total effective rate of the test group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant[relative risk (RR)=1.28,95％ confidence interval (CI)=(1.22,1.33);P<0.00001]. The pregnancy rate in the test group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant[RR=1.71;95％CI=(1.42,2.06);P<0.00001]. The rate of tubal patency in the test group was higher than that in the control group[RR=1.54;95％CI=(1.42,1.68);P<0.00001]. Conclusion Compared with the previous conventional non-acupuncture-medicine combination therapy,the combination of acupuncture and medicine can improve the therapeutic effect,pregnancy rate and tubal patency rate of tubal obstructive infertility,and can also avoid the occurrence of adhesion due to surgical treatment,with fewer adverse reactions and higher clinical effectiveness and safety.
