Study on the effect of paroxetine combined with olanzapine in the treatment of female depression complicated with sleep disorders
Objective To explore the effect of paroxetine combined with olanzapine in the treatment of female depression complicated with sleep disorders. Methods 98 female patients with depression and sleep disorders were divided into a control group and a study group according to random number table method,with 49 cases in each group. The control group was treated with paroxetine,and the study group was treated with olanzapine on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy,Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI),World Health Organization Quality of Life BREF (QOL-BREF) score and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of 93.88% in the study group was significantly higher than 77.55% in the control group (P<0.05). Before treatment,there were no differences in PSQI and QOL-BREF scores between the two groups (P>0.05). After 3 months of treatment,PSQI score of (8.02±1.20) points in the study group was lower than (12.85±1.50) points in the control group,and QOL-BREF score of (90.02±5.00) points was higher than (82.65±4.85) points in the control group (P<0.05). There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The treatment effect of paroxetine combined with olanzapine for female patients with depression and sleep disorders is definite,which can effectively improve the symptoms of depression and sleep disorders,ensure the quality of life,and have good safety.
