A study on the effect of nifedipine combined with labetalol on blood pressure, quality of life and hemodynamic indexes in patients with pregnancy induced hypertension and preeclampsia
Objective To observe the effect of nifedipine combined with labetalol on blood pressure, quality of life and hemodynamic indexes in patients with pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH) and preeclampsia. Methods 80 patients with PIH and preeclampsia were divided into an observation group and a control group according to random numerical table, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with oral nifedipine, and the observation group was treated with labetalol on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, blood pressure, quality of life, umbilical artery hemodynamic indicators, and adverse pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of 95.00% in the observation group was higher than 75.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (x2=6.275,P=0.012<0.05).After treatment, the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure decreased in both groups compared with those before treatment;the observation group had systolic blood pressure of (123.12±8.94) mm Hg (1 mm Hg=0.133 kPa) and diastolic blood pressure of (81.75±7.15) mm Hg,which were lower than (136.16±9.46) and (90.14±8.36) mm Hg in the control group;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of material function, physical status, social function and psychological function were improved in both groups compared with those before treatment;in the observation group, the material function score was (76.38±4.67) points, the physical status score was (73.73±4.27) points, the social function score was (78.48±5.75) points and the psychological function score was (84.22±4.74) points, which were higher than (62.48±5.05),(64.38±3.78),(71.25±4.76) and (74.64±4.62) points in the control group;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the blood viscosity, hematocrit and resistance index were decreased in both groups compared with those before treatment;in the observation group, the blood viscosity was (3.58±0.43) mPa·s,the hematocrit was (33.28±1.73)% and the resistance index was (0.25±0.07),which were lower than (4.44±0.36) mPa·s,(40.27±2.03)% and (0.56±0.07) in the control group;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The follow-up results showed that the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than 22.50% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Nifedipine combined with rabetalol treatment for patients with PIH and preeclampsia can improve the blood pressure and umbilical artery hemodynamic indicators, enhance the quality of life, and improve the pregnancy outcomes of patients.
