Analysis on the value of blood test indicators in diagnosis and differentiation of anemia
Objective To study the value of blood test indicators in diagnosis and differentiation of anemia. Methods 100 patients with anemia were selected as the observation group, and 100 healthy subjects were selected as the control group. Both groups underwent blood tests.Comparisons of the red blood cell related indicators between the observation group and the control group,as well as patients with different types of anemia, and the serum iron indicators in patients with different degrees of anemia. Results In the observation group, the red blood cell count (RBC) was (2.97±0.17)×1012/L,the hemoglobin (HGB) was (81.58±2.24) g/L,the mean corpuscular volume (MCV) was (69.68±2.07) fl,the mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) was (277.34±3.33) g/L,the hematocrit (HCT) was (0.28±0.04) and the mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH) was (20.86±1.01) pg,which were lower than (4.46±0.28)×1012/L,(117.72±6.37) g/L,(83.62±2.14) fl,(326.08±9.22) g/L,(0.39±0.06) and (29.32±1.22) pg in the control group;the red blood cell distribution width (RDW) of (20.34±1.17)% was higher than (12.38±1.06)% in the control group;the difference was significant (P<0.05).There were significant differences in RBC,HGB,MCV,MCHC,RDW,HCT and MCH among patients with different types of anemia (P<0.05).HGB and MCH were lower in patients with iron deficiency anemia:iron deficiency anemia<aplastic anemia<hemolytic anemia; The RBC,MCV and MCHC of aplastic anemia patients were the lowest:aplastic anemia<iron deficiency anemia<hemolytic anemia;RDW and HCT of hemolytic anemia were lowest:hemolytic anemia<aplastic anemia<iron deficiency anemia. The levels of serum ferritin, serum iron and serum transferrin receptor in patients with different degrees of anemia were significantly different (P<0.05),with a tendency for serum ferritin and serum iron levels to decrease in patients with mild, moderate and severe anemia, and a tendency for serum transferrin receptor to increase. Conclusion Blood test indicators can be used to diagnose anemia, identify the type of anemia, and determine the severity of the disease,so as to formulate treatment plans.
