Study on effect of omeprazole combined with amoxicillin on patients with gastritis and gastric ulcer
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of omeprazole combined with amoxicillin on patients with gastritis and gastric ulcer. Methods 78 patients with gastritis and gastric ulcer were randomly divided into an experimental group and a reference group, with 39 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with omeprazole alone, and the experimental group was treated with omeprazole combined with amoxicillin. The clinical efficacy, clinical symptoms (acid reflux, abdominal pain, gastric sensation and belching and fullness) scores, gastrointestinal hormone levels[gastrin (GAS),cholecystokinin (CCK),motilin (MTL)]of the two groups were compared. Results The total clinical effective rate of 97.44% in the experimental group was higher than 82.05% in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the acid reflux score of the experimental group was (0.68±0.13) points, the abdominal pain score was (0.81±0.16) points, the gastric burning sensation score was (0.52±0.09) points and the belching and fullness score was (0.54±0.07) points, which were lower than (0.92±0.24),(1.17±0.28),(0.88±0.15) and (0.71±0.16) points of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the experimental group had GAS of (70.58±6.59) ng/L and CCK of (11.36±1.75) ng/L,which were lower than (81.34±7.63) and (15.48±2.18) ng/L in the reference group;MTL of (231.56±15.38) ng/L in the experimental group was higher than (204.69±12.47) ng/L in the reference group;the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of omeprazole and amoxicillin in the treatment of gastritis with gastric ulcer can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms, improve gastrointestinal hormone levels, and enhance overall treatment efficacy, which is worth promoting.
