The effect of leuprolide acetate combined with laparoscopic myomectomy on FSH,E2,LH levels in patients with uterine fibroids
Objective To observe the effect of leuprolide acetate combined with laparoscopic myomectomy (LSM) on follicle stimulating hormone (FSH),estradiol (E2),luteinizing hormone (LH) levels in patients with uterine fibroids. Methods A total of 100 patients with uterine fibroids were selected and divided into a control group (LSM treatment) and an observation group (leuprolide acetate+LSM treatment) according to individual differences in treatment plans, each with 50 cases. The serum sex hormone levels, postoperative menstrual indicators and perioperative related therapeutic indicators were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, the serum levels of FSH,E2,and LH were (27.57±3.47) U/L,(275.39±33.48) pmol/L,and (20.91±2.51) U/L in the control group, and (27.61±3.36) U/L,(276.82±33.51) pmol/L,and (20.85±2.49) U/L in the observation group, respectively. After treatment, the serum levels of FSH,E2,and LH were (18.17±2.84) U/L,(216.17±26.57) pmol/L,and (17.49±1.85) U/L in the control group, and (13.05±2.29) U/L,(139.84±18.79) pmol/L,and (11.67±1.36) U/L in the observation group, respectively.Compared with those before treatment, the serum levels of FSH,E2 and LH decreased significantly in both groups, and the difference within the groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the serum levels of FSH,E2 and LH in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).The duration of postoperative menstrual cycle of (29.56±1.32) d in the observation group was shorter than (33.13±2.29) d in the control group, and the menstrual amount of (41.33±4.32) ml was less than (55.45±6.69) ml in the control group. The difference between the groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).The intraoperative bleeding volume and pelvic drainage in the observation group were less than those in the control group;the off-bed ambulation time and hospital stay in the observation group was shorter than those in the control group;the disease recurrence rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group;the difference between the groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of leuprolide acetate and LSM can significantly reduce the levels of FSE,E2,and LH in the clinical treatment of uterine fibroids, reduce intraoperative bleeding volume and pelvic drainage, accelerate postoperative recovery, and reduce disease recurrence rate.It is worthy of recommendation.
