Analysis of the adverse drug reactions reported in a hospital
Objective To analyze the reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADR) in a hospital,so as to improve the pharmaceutical service ability. Methods The adverse reactions of Chinese and Western medicine preparations in a hospital from January 2010 to August 2019 were summarized by the National Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring System, classified by dosage form, and statistically analyzed from age, occurrence time and treatment measures, main organs involved and severity. Results A total of 1398 cases of adverse reactions occurred from January 2010 to August 2019,of which 246 cases (17.60%) occurred in Chinese medicine preparations and 1152 cases (82.40%) occurred in Western medicine preparations, with an overall increasing trend year by year.Powder injection and injection were the main dosage forms in which the adverse reactions of Chinese and Western medicine preparations occurred. The adverse reactions of Chinese medicine preparations were mainly capsules and granules, and the adverse reactions of Western medicine preparations were mainly tablets and capsules. The adverse reactions of Chinese and Western medicine preparations occurred mainly at the age of ≥ 60 years, and occurrence the time was 0-30 min.The treatment methods were mostly drug rescue and liquid replacement. Conclusion The reporting of adverse drug reactions is one of the contents of pharmacovigilance, and it is the recognition and control of risks.Grass roots medical institutions should pay enough attention to the reporting of adverse drug reactions to improve their pharmaceutical service capabilities.
