Analysis of the impact of child-friendly communication combined with respiratory function training intervention on treatment compliance and symptom relief time in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia
Objective To explore the practical effect of child-friendly communication combined with respiratory function training intervention on treatment compliance and symptom relief time in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP).Methods 80 children with MPP were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention, while the observation group received child-friendly communication combined with respiratory function training intervention. The treatment compliance, symptom relief time, and family satisfaction with nursing care were compared between the two groups. Results The total compliance rate of the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than the control group's 80.00% (P<0.05).In the observation group, the cough relief time was (3.27±0.73) d,the shortness of breath relief time was (4.04±0.69) d,the lung rale relief time was (3.91±0.88) d,and the fever relief time was (3.52±0.62) d,which were shorter than the control group's (4.68±0.84),(5.26±0.73),(5.87±0.60),and (4.63±0.74) d (P<0.05).The total family satisfaction with nursing care was 97.50% in the observation group, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of child-friendly communication and respiratory function training intervention can improve the treatment compliance of children with MPP,accelerate their recovery, and achieve higher family satisfaction with nursing care.
