The effect of Qingfei oral liquid combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of bronchial pneumonia in children
Objective To observe the effect of Qingfei oral liquid combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of bronchial pneumonia in children, and explore its mechanism. Methods 92 children with bronchial pneumonia were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random numerical table(1∶1 ratio),each consisting of 46 cases. The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine, and the observation group was treated with Qingfei oral liquid based on the control group. Both groups were compared in terms of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score(persistent heat, shortness of breath, cough, sputum ringing in larynx, thick sputum),blood routine indicators[white blood cell count(WBC),lymphocyte(LYM)percentage, neutrophil(NEU)percentage],clinical effect, and occurrence of adverse reactions. Results After treatment, the scores of persistent heat, shortness of breath, cough, sputum ringing in larynx and thick sputum in both groups were lower than those before treatment;in the observation group, the score of persistent heat was(0.53±0.17)points,the score of shortness of breath was(0.43±0.11)points,the score of cough was(0.37±0.14)points,the score of sputum ringing in larynx was(0.96±0.41)points and the score of thick sputum was(1.16±0.28)points,which were higher than(0.96±0.23),(0.85±0.17),(0.72±0.17),(1.39±0.45)and(1.69±0.35)points in the control group;there were significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, the WBC and NEU percentage in both groups were lower than those before treatment, while the LYM percentage was higher than that before treatment;the observation group had WBC of(5.14±0.72)×109/L and NEU percentage of(51.86±4.15)%,which were lower than(6.86±0.95)×109/L and(57.38±4.68)%in the control group;LYM percentage of(27.53±3.73)%in the observation group was higher than(20.36±3.59)%in the control group;there were significant differences(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate of 95.65%in the observation group was higher than 82.61%in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of Qingfei oral liquid combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of children with bronchial pneumonia is outstanding, which can relieve symptoms and control the condition, and is safe and reliable.
