Exploring the diagnostic value of combined detection of serum CEA,AFP and CA125 in ovarian tumor
Objective To observe the diagnostic value of combined detection of serum carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),alpha fetoprotein(AFP),and carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)in ovarian tumor. Methods 60 patients with benign ovarian tumors were selected as the benign group,60 patients with malignant ovarian tumors as the malignant group, and 60 healthy individuals as the healthy group. The serum levels of CA125,AFP and CEA among the three groups were detected. The differences in serum levels of CEA,AFP,and CA125 were compared among three groups, and the efficiency of the combined detection of the above indexes in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant ovarian tumors was analyzed with pathological diagnosis as the gold standard. Results The tumor group had CEA of(20.49±3.43)ng/ml,AFP of(98.36±17.52)ng/ml and CA125 of(27.26±3.41)U/ml,which were higher than(5.58±0.76)ng/ml,(2.77±0.42)ng/ml and(4.57±1.52)U/ml in the benign group,and(2.15±0.52)ng/ml,(0.94±0.15)ng/ml and(2.73±0.55)U/ml in the healthy group;the benign group was higher than the healthy group;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The sensitivity of the combined detection was 98.33%,the specificity was 96.67%,the accuracy was 97.50%,the positive predictive value was 96.72%,and the negative predictive value was 98.31%;the sensitivity of CEA single detection was 56.67%,the specificity was 65.00%,the accuracy was 60.83%,the positive predictive value was 61.82%,and the negative predictive value was 60.00%;the sensitivity of AFP single detection was 51.67%,the specificity was 70.00%,the accuracy was 60.83%,the positive predictive value was 63.27%,and the negative predictive value was 59.15%;the sensitivity of CA125 single detection was 55.00%,the specificity was 73.33%,the accuracy was 64.17%,the positive predictive value was 67.35%,and the negative predictive value was 61.97%.The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of combined detection were all higher than those of single detection of CEA,AFP and CA125,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For female ovarian health examinations, the combined detection of serum CEA,AFP,and CA125 has high diagnostic value for the benign and malignant ovarian tumors, and can provide reference for clinical doctors to formulate treatment measures.
