Exploring the effect of ropivacaine hydrochloride combined with sufentanil on epidural anesthesia for labor analgesia
Objective To observe the effect of ropivacaine hydrochloride combined with sufentanil on epidural anesthesia for labor analgesia. Methods A total of 70 postpartum women who received epidural anesthesia for labor analgesia were randomly divided into a control group and a study group using a random numerical table, each with 35 cases. The control group was anesthetized with ropivacaine hydrochloride, and the study group was anesthetized with ropivacaine hydrochloride and sufentanil. The duration of labor, visual analogue scale(VAS)score, and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results In the study group, the duration of the first stage of labor was(5.68±1.39)h and the duration of the second stage of labor was(44.85±3.96)min,which were shorter than(6.73±1.42)h and(53.47±5.08)min in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The VAS scores at 5,15 and 30 min of analgesia were(3.57±0.77),(1.80±0.45)and(0.56±0.09)points in the study group, which were lower than(4.29±0.96),(2.69±0.51)and(1.42±0.33)points in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the study group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion The use of ropivacaine hydrochloride and sufentanil in epidural anesthesia for labor analgesia can improve the analgesic effect and shorten the duration of labor of parturients, and it is safe and effective.
