Observation on the effects of proper limb positioning combined with hemiplegic limb rehabilitation training in patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia
Objective To observe the effects of proper limb positioning combined with hemiplegic limb rehabilitation training in patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia. Methods 276 patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia were divided into the control group and the study group by randomized numerical table method, each with 138 cases. The control group implemented hemiplegic limb rehabilitation training, and the study group implemented proper limb positioning combined with hemiplegic limb rehabilitation training. The Brunnstrom score, activities of daily living(ADL)score,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score and manual muscle strength testing grade before and after the training, and clinical satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After training, the Brunnstrom scores of the upper limb, hand, and lower limb and total scores,ADL score and NIHSS score of the study group were(5.16±0.41),(5.33±0.36),(5.28±0.63),(15.77±0.72),(94.08±2.39)and(9.76±1.05)points,and those of the control group were(4.47±0.61),(4.37±0.52),(4.18±0.51),(13.02±0.93),(90.61±5.72)and(14.37±3.37)points.After training, the Brunnstrom scores of the upper limb, hand, and lower limb and total scores, and ADL score improved in both groups compared with those before training, and the improvement in the study group was more obvious;the NIHSS score decreased compared with that before training, and the decline in the study group was more obvious;the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After training, the manual muscle strength testing grade of the study group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The percentage of grade Ⅴ and Ⅳ muscle strength was high in the study group, and the percentage of grade 0 and Ⅰmuscle strength was low.The total clinical satisfaction rate in the study group was higher than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Proper limb positioning combined with hemiplegic limb rehabilitation training has significant effect. It can not only effectively improve the motor function, muscle strength grade and clinical satisfaction of patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia, but also enhance the patient's daily life abilities and reduce the severity of neurological deficits, achieving satisfactory results.
