Analysis of clinical value of MSCT and X-ray in diagnosis of pneumoconiosis
Objective To investigate the clinical value of multislice spiral CT (MSCT) and X-ray in diagnosis of pneumoconiosis. Methods 60 cases of pneumoconiosis were studied, all of which were diagnosed by X-ray and MSCT. The diagnostic accuracy and detection rate of imaging feature of the two methods were compared. Results The diagnostic accuracy of MSCT (93.33%) was significantly higher than that of X-ray (73.33%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The detection rates of MSCT for intrapulmonary calcified shadows, large shadows, mediastinal lymph nodes, and bronchial congestion sign were 81.67%,85.00%,71.67% and 78.33%,which were significantly higher than 53.33%,66.67%,53.33% and 60.00% of X-ray,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with X-ray,MSCT has a higher diagnostic accuracy and higher detection rate of imaging features for pneumoconiosis, which is worthy of wide application.
