The influence of different blood collection methods on the results of clinical blood routine test
Objective To compare the influence of different blood collection methods on the results of clinical blood routine test. Methods A total of 80 outpatients receiving clinical blood routine test were selected, and their peripheral blood and venous blood were collected.Detecting and comparing the levels of blood routine indexes[white blood cell count(WBC),red blood cell count(RBC),platelet count(PLT),hemoglobin(HGB),hematocrit(HCT)],as well as the accuracy of blood routine tests in the two blood samples. Results WBC of(7.44±0.19)×109/L in the peripheral blood was lower than(8.59±0.23)×109/L in the venous blood;RBC,PLT,HCT and HGB were(5.30±0.25)×1012/L,(274.36±10.36)×109/L,(44.07±2.37)%and(143.96±8.74)g/L in the peripheral blood, which were significantly higher than(4.67±0.12)×1012/L,(261.10±9.85)×109/L,(41.28±1.35)%and(129.96±6.37)g/L in the venous blood(P<0.05).The accuracy of clinical blood routine test in the venous blood was 95.00%,which was significantly higher than 85.00%in the peripheral blood(P<0.05).Conclusion In blood routine test, there are obvious differences between peripheral blood collection and venous blood collection, with the accuracy of blood routine test being higher under the venous blood collection.
