Comparison of clinical effect of amisulpride and risperidone in the treatment of late-onset schizophrenia
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of amisulpride and risperidone in the treatment of late onset schizophrenia. Methods 80 patients with late onset schizophrenia were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to random numerical table, each with 40 cases. Both groups received psychotherapy. On this basis, the control group was treated with risperidone, and the observation group was treated with amisulpride. The clinical efficacy, mental state and self-efficacy scores before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of 97.50%in the observation group was significantly higher than 80.00%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the score of positive and negative symptom scale(PANSS)was decreased and the score of general self-efficacy scale(GSES)was increased in both groups compared with those before treatment;the scores of PANSS and GSES in the observation group were(80.72±5.12)and(19.23±2.33)points,which were lower than(103.47±6.32)and(27.14±2.21)points in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of amisulpiride for the treatment of late onset schizophrenia has a significant effect, which is beneficial for improving the patient's mental state, and is worthy of clinical adoption.
