Clinical efficacy of Buyang Huanwu Decoction in the treatment of ischemic stroke:a Meta-analysis
Objective To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Buyang Huanwu Decoction in the treatment of ischemic stroke.Methods The full-text database of Chinese journals(CNKI)was searched by computer from its establishment to January 31,2023.The literature was screened and evaluated for quality in strict accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria,and the included randomized controlled trials(RCTs)were Meta-analysed using RevMan 5.3 software.Results A total of 390 studies were retrieved and screened to include 10 studies,including a total of 856 patients.Meta-analysis results showed that the total effective rate of clinical efficacy in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group[OR=4.68,95%CI=(3.04,7.22),P<0.00001].The improvement in neurological function was better than that in the control group[OR=3.17;95%CI=(1.82,5.53);P<0.0001].Conclusion The existing research evidence shows that the treatment of ischemic stroke with modified Buyang Huanwu Decoction can significantly enhance the clinical efficacy,and improve the nerve function.
