Clinical study on the effect of external application of Fructus Evodiae on Yongquan acupoint combined with acupuncture in the treatment of post-stroke insomnia of heart-kidney imbalance type
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of external application of Fructus Evodiae on Yongquan acupoint combined with acupuncture in the treatment of post-stroke insomnia of heart-kidney imbalance type.Methods 90 patients with post-stroke insomnia of heart-kidney imbalance type were divided into acupuncture group,acupoint application group and acupuncture+acupoint application group by random number table,each with 30 cases.The acupuncture group was treated with acupuncture,the acupoint application group was treated with external application of Fructus Evodiae on Yongquan acupoint,and the acupuncture+acupoint application group was treated by acupuncture combined with Evodia application on Yongquan acupoint.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores and clinical outcomes of the three groups were compared.Results After treatment,the sleep quality score of acupuncture+acupoint application group was(1.17±0.18)points,the sleep latency score was(1.37±0.21)points,the sleep time score was(1.24±0.21)points,the sleep efficiency score was(1.25±0.19)points,the sleep disorder score was(1.34±0.21)points,the hypnotic drug score was(1.52±0.20)points,the daytime dysfunction score was(1.40±0.16)points and the total PSQI score was(9.29±2.14)points,which were lower than those of acupuncture group[(1.33±0.21),(1.67±0.31),(1.47±0.28),(1.50±0.33),(1.70±0.33),(1.70±0.25),(1.53±0.28)and(10.90±3.10)points]and acupoint application group[(1.50±0.23),(1.67±0.35),(1.57±0.32),(1.56±0.31),(1.62±0.30),(1.83±0.29),(1.83±0.29)and(11.58±2.47)points],and there were statistical differences(P<0.05).The total therapeutic efficiency of 96.67%in the acupuncture+acupoint application group was higher than 80.00%in the acupuncture group and 73.33%in the acupoint application group,and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of external application of Fructus Evodiae on Yongquan acupoint combined with acupuncture in the treatment of post-stroke insomnia of heart-kidney imbalance type is significant,which can improve the sleep quality of patients and has certain application value.
