A study on the impact of rehabilitation training on quality of life of patients after thyroid surgery
Objective To study the impact of rehabilitation training on quality of life of patients after thyroid surgery. Methods 100 patients after thyroid surgery were divided into an experimental group and a control group by computer table method, each with 50 cases. The control group received routine management, while the experimental group received rehabilitation training intervention on the basis of the control group. The intervention satisfaction, dysphagia score and University of California at Los Angeles(UCLA)shoulder score before and after intervention, and quality of life score after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results The total satisfaction rate of intervention in the experimental group was 96.00%,which was higher than 78.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the dysphagia score in both groups were higher than that before intervention, and the dysphagia score of(6.11±0.89)points in the experimental group was higher than(4.61±1.22)points in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the UCLA shoulder score in both groups was significantly higher than that before intervention, and the UCLA shoulder score of(32.56±2.21)points in the experimental group was higher than(23.15±4.87)points in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of mental health, bodily pain, physical functioning,role-physical,social functioning,role-emotional,vitality,and general health scores of the experimental group were(89.18±6.50),(89.42±6.71),(89.27±6.34),(89.61±6.58),(89.46±6.71),(89.47±5.86),(89.71±6.57),and(89.55±6.84)points,which were higher than(68.29±5.37),(69.05±5.74),(69.16±5.45),(68.74±6.94),(68.74±6.44),(67.64±6.35),(68.58±5.98),and(69.16±5.87)points of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Rehabilitation training has a promoting effect on improving swallowing function and shoulder joint function and quality of life of patients after thyroid surgery, which is worth exploring in clinical application.
