Objective To analyze the causes of thrombosis in children with hematological diseases who have a peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC),and to study the nursing strategies.Methods Among the 243 children with PICC in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023,thrombosis occurred in ten patients,and clinical data of the causes and effective treatment measures were collected and analyzed.Results The causes of patients with PICC-related thrombosis included their self factors,operational factors,disease factors,catheter factors,drug factors,treatment factors,lack of cognition and many other factors.After targeted treatment,ass have been cured.Conclusions Various reasons can lead to the occurrence of PICC catheter-related thrombosis.The occurrence of thrombus can be prevented by making good assessment and taking effective measures in advance.Timely and accurate symptomatic treatment when thrombosis occurs can effectively cure the thrombosis and reduce the pain of children.
