Advances in the Application of Biomedical Engineering Technologies in Remote Monitoring of Chronic Heart Failure
Chronic heart failure,as the terminal stage of various cardiac conditions,imposes substantial life burdens on patients and poses significant challenges to the healthcare system.Increased application of evolving biomedical engineering technologies such as intelligent electronic devices,sensors,and cloud computing,remote monitoring enables real-time data collection and transmission for heart failure patients.Coupled with artificial intelligence and data analysis,use of biomedical engineering technologies could provide required medical information for decision-making of personalized treatment.This review focuses on the application of emerging biomedical engineering technologies in remote monitoring for chronic heart failure,summarizes the current state of development and envisioning the potential value of future biomedical engineering technologies in enhancing the management and treatment of heart failure patients.
