Occurrence States State of Rare Earth Elements in a REE Deposit in Longchuan,Western Yunnan
A rare earth mine in Longchuan, western Yunnan,is a newly discovered rare earth mine in recent years. In order to determine whether the rare earth mine can be deposited industrially under modern technical conditions, the occurrence state of rare earth elements in rare earth ores was studied.Through chemical phase analysis, including ionic phase, colloidal sedimentary phase, mineral phase and water-soluble phase, and com-bined with X-ray powder diffraction, the occurrence state of rare earth elements in a rare earth mine was investi-gated.The results show that the occurrence state of rare earth elements in the rare earth ore is mainly ionic phase, and the enrichment of full phase rare earth elements is consistent with that of ionic phase rare earth ele-ments.Combined with the composition characteristics of weathered crust minerals in this area,it is considered that clay minerals(kaolinite and illite)are the main carrier minerals of rare earth elements, and rare earth ele-ments are adsorbed in clay minerals as ion exchange phase to enrich, which is of great significance to enrich and improve the mechanism of secondary enrichment of rare earth elements in the area, and provides a basis for the subsequent comprehensive utilization of rare earth resources.
