Enrichment Characteristics and Occurrence States of Rare Earth Elements in Laojiezi Pb-Ag Deposit,Central Yunnan
Yao'an lead polymetallic deposit in central Yunnan is a typical representative of Jinshajiang Honghe al-kali rich porphyry polymetallic metallogenic belt, and rare earth mineralization enrichment in lead polymetallic deposits in the belt has been rarely reported. In recent years, abnormal enrichment of rare earth elements has been found in the Yao'an Laojiezi Pb-Ag deposit. The content in some sections has exceeded the industrial grade, forming ore(mineralization)bodies. The phenomenon of mineralization and enrichment of rare earth and lead polymetallic in the same space leads to the problems in the study of mineralization of this type of deposit:What are the characteristics of rare earth element enrichment and its occurrence state? This paper systematically collect-ed 231 alkali rich porphyry samples in the middle sections of 2108,2073,2038 and 2003 m tunnels, determined the content of rare earth elements by ICP-MS,drew its abnormal distribution map,and summarized the spatial en-richment law of rare earth elements. It is found that the content of rare earth elements increases from shallow to deep in vertical space.Through electron probe analysis, monazite, allanite and other rare earth minerals were identified.Based on a comprehensive study of the enrichment characteristics of rare earth elements at the macro spatial scale and the occurrence status of rare earth elements at the micro spatial scale,it is believed that the en-richment of rare earth elements is closely related to the NE nearly EW trending faults, pyritization and galena min-eralization in space, and the rare earth in this deposit has metallogenic potential and prospecting prospects.
