Influence of Mixing Mode on Fluidity of NdFeB Magnetic Powder and Magnetic Properties
The effect of different mixing modes on the fluidity,particle size distribution,microstructure and magnetic properties of NdFeB magnetic powder was studied by surface modification of NdFeB magnetic powder made by airflow grinding,and powder processing by traditional 3D mixing machine and high-shear mixing ma-chine.The bulk density and vibration density of NdFeB magnetic powder modified by high-shear mixing equip-ment reach 1.8114 and 3.7685 g·cm-3.The properties of NdFeB magnet prepared by orientation,isostatic press-ing and sintering are as follows:Br=14.23 kGs,Hcj=13.29 kOe,(BH)max=49.42 MGOe.The results show that changing the mixing mode can effectively shorten the mixing time,improve the performance of the magnet,im-prove the production efficiency and save the time cost.
