The incidence of acute type A aortic dissection after aortic valve replacement is relatively low,but the prognosis is much poor.It is crucial to understand the causes and monitor the patients before surgery in order to improve the prognosis.Therefore,it is important to identify risk factors,perform carefully operations,and actively prevent complications during the perioperative period.Currently,there are no specific recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute type A aortic dissection after aortic valve replacement.This article aims to review recent studies on this topic and provide guidance for the diagnosis and treatment of acute type A aortic dissection after aortic valve replacement.
