Cardiovascular disease is currently the main cause of death in the world and China and the disease burden in our country is also increasing year by year.Coronary heart disease and ischemic stroke have similar risk factors and they often occur together.Therefore,in the process of diagnosis and treatment,the co-morbidity of the two should be taken into consideration.Multidisciplinary participation is required to formulate precise treatment plans to improve the prognosis.One-stop cardio-cerebral imaging examination and the combined treatment have been a research hotspot in recent years.This article provides a brief review of the research progress in the clinical examination and treatment of cardio-cerebral comorbidities.
