Aortic dissection(AD)is an extremely dangerous and critical cardiovascular surgery condition,characterized by acute onset,rapid progression,complex and dangerous condition,and extremely high mortality rate.This disease is prone to postoperative complications and has a high surgical mortality rate.There are multiple subtypes of AD,and Stanford subtype is one of the most commonly used subtypes in clinical practice,with Stanford type A AD being the most common and dangerous.With the rapid development of medical technology,the level of diagnosis and treatment for AD has significantly improved.This article provides a review of the development and current status of Stanford A type AD treatment.
