Estimating effectiveness of prevention & control measures for food poisoning in schools using the Delphi method
Objective To estimate the effectiveness of alternative control measures for food poisoning in schools,to offer scientific bases for supervision and administration.Methods A two-round Delphi expert consultation (35 experts) was held to choose suitable key indicators for food poisoning prevention and control in schools.The alternative effective measures were assessed and selected by the experts.Results The average years of work experience among those 35 experts were (20.60±6.78)years.And the response rates of the two-round consultation were both 100%.Average coefficient of experts' authorities was 0.91t0.07,and Kendall coefficient were 0.575 (x2 =362.206,P < 0.01),0.850 (x2 =535.374,P < 0.01),respectively.Fifteen effective measures from three dimensions for food poisoning prevention and control in schools were identified,and weight of each measures were established.Conclusion Delphi expert consultation method is an effective method to establish the effective measures for food poisoning prevention and control in schools.In addition,these measures would facilitate corresponding supervision and administration measures.
