Evaluation of effect of hand function rehabilitation nursing in patients with hand burns
Objective To study the effect of hand function rehabilitation nursing programs on the pain and life abil-ity of patients with hand burns during hospitalization. Methods From January 2022 to June 2022,80 patients with hand burns who were treated in our hospital were divided into two groups by the odd and even number method. The control group(n=40)received the routine nursing plan during hospitalization, and the study group(n=40)received the hand function reha-bilitation nursing plan under the premise of routine nursing.Hand function(Michigan Hand Outcome Questionnaire,MHQ),pain visual analogue score(VAS),daily living ability(Barthel Score System),the incidence of complications, short form 36 questionnaires(SF-36),and nursing satisfaction were used as evaluation indicators. The effects of the two groups were com-pared.Results After nursing, the hand activity function score and the hand function score of the study group were(7.71± 1.08)points and(6.16±1.02)points,while the hand activity function score and the hand function score of the control group were(12.67±2.03)points and(10.15±1.94)points respectively. The difference between the two groups was statistically signif-icant(t=13.642,11.513,both P<0.05).The VAS score of the study group was(2.42±0.63)points,while the VAS score of the control group was(4.33±0.56)points,with a statistically significant difference(t=14.331,P<0.05).The Barthel score of the study group was(88.05±4.38)points,while the control group was(76.42±4.33)points,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(t=11.942,P<0.05).The incidence rate of complications in the study group was 2.50%,while the incidence rate of complications in the control group was 22.50%,the difference between the two groups was statisti-cally significant(x2=5.600,P<0.05).In the study group, the SF-36 score was(85.26±3.42)points,the nursing satisfaction score was(93.01±3.39)points,and in the control group, the SF-36 score was(69.21±3.38)points,the nursing satisfaction score was(78.45±3.87)points.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant(t=21.110,17.898,both P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with hand burns who re-ceive hand function rehabilitation nursing programs during hospitalization can effectively relieve their pain, promote their hand function recovery, reduce complications, and have high nursing satisfaction.
