Analysis of liver function results of physical examination of college stu-dents in Guiyang City from 2018 to 2022
Objective To understand the results of physical examination of liver function and the detection of hepa-titis virus markers in college students at a university in Guiyang City in recent years,to provide scientific evidence for the prevention and health care of liver function abnormalities and hepatitis prevention and health care of students. Methods The liver function data including serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST))of undergradu-ate freshmen and graduates at a university in Guiyang City from 2018 to 2022 were collected and statistically analyzed by SPSS,and the students with abnormal aminotransferases were further examined for hepatitis virus markers to determine the cause of abnormal liver function. Results The proportion(4.7%)of abnormal liver function in physical examination of grad-uates was higher than that(3.5%)of freshmen, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=73.512,P<0.001).No HAV IgM antibody,HCV virus antibody, and HEV IgM antibody were detected in the re-examination of abnormal liver function in freshmen and graduates, and the proportion(10.0%)of HBsAg positive detected in graduates was higher than that(7.3%)in freshmen, the difference was statistically significant(x2=6.666,P=0.010).Conclusions At a university in Guiyang City, the detection rate of liver dysfunction among graduates from 2018 to 2022 is higher than that of freshmen, and the positive detec-tion rate of HBsAg in liver dysfunction among graduates is higher than that of freshmen. It is necessary to strengthen the man-agement,prevention,and control of liver dysfunction and hepatitis among college students.
