Application of scenario simulation teaching methods in pre-job training for nursing document processing for new nurses
Objective To explore the application effect of scenario simulation teaching method in pre-job training for new nurses in nursing document processing. Methods A total of 78 new nurses in 2019 were randomly selected for pre-job training in nursing document processing in our hospital as a control group, and the training was carried out according to the conventional theoretical centralized teaching method.Totally 78 new nurses in 2020 were randomly selected for pre-job training on nursing document processing as an observation group, and the scenario simulation teaching methods was used for training. The training of scenario simulation teaching method was adopted, based on the typical cases of internal, external, gynecological, pediatric, and oncological departments, group discussion was organized first to complete the processing of nursing documents, and the teacher comments intensively, and new nurses could extract different scenario cases in the sce-nario simulation ward case database for repeated practice. Results After the pre-job training of new nurses in the two groups, the assessment score of the observation group(average score of 94 points)was higher than that of the control group(average score of 89 points)(U=1 437,W=4 518,P<0.05).After one month of clinical work for new nurses in the two groups, the rate of no summary of nursing documents in the observation group was 15.38%,and that of the control group was 50.00%,and the quality control defects of nursing documents in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The scenario simulation ward teaching method can pro-mote the application of nursing theory knowledge in clinical nursing, shorten the clinical adaptation period of new nurses,im-prove the efficiency of processing nursing documents, and ensure nursing safety.
