Exploration and practice on provincial area medical specialty alliance
This study was aimed at comprehensively reviewing the development of the provincial area medical spe-cialty alliance led by various hospitals in Xuzhou City,and exploring its path of construction and achievements,to facilitate further high-quality development.Data were sourced from the comprehensive performance evaluation of municipal public hospitals conducted by the Xuzhou Municipal Health Commission from 2019 to 2022.Qualitative analysis methods were used for analysis.The tertiary hospitals in Xuzhou City,in collaboration with the medical and health institutions in other cit-ies in the Huaihai Economic Zone,are exploring the establishment of a medical specialty alliance across the provincial area.They jointly conduct alliance activities in talent cultivation,technical training,resource sharing,and other aspects,thus play-ing a leading and demonstrative role;providing multi-level medical service needs for people in the region;and improving the overall effectiveness of the healthcare service system.
