上海市普陀区8~10岁学龄儿童糖相关饮料消费与超重肥胖的关系

目的 了解不同种类糖相关饮料消费与8~10岁学龄儿童超重肥胖的关系,为控制和预防学生超重肥胖及健康干预政策的制订提供依据.方法 在上海市普陀区10个街道各随机抽取1所小学,按照简单随机抽样方法在抽取学校的三至五年级中各抽取1个班级,每个班级各随机抽取16名学生,对8~10岁学龄儿童进行糖相关饮料消费率、消费频率、消费量调查和身高、体质量测量,采用x2检验和Kruskal-Wallis H秩和检验比较组间差异,采用多因素logisitc回归模型分析糖相关饮料消费情况对体重指数(Body Mass Index,BMI)的影响.结果 本次共调查480名学生,超重率为18.54%,肥胖率为15.21%.其100%果汁平均每周消费100~200 mL(OR=2.347,95%CI=1.100~5.005)、果汁饮料平均每周消费200 mL以上(OR=2.907,95%CI=1.225~6.894)和含糖茶饮料平均每周消费100~200mL(OR=2.391,95%CI=1.029~5.554)是8~10岁学龄儿童发生超重肥胖的危险因素(P<0.05).结论 8~10岁学龄儿童糖相关饮料消费量的增加会提高其超重肥胖的风险.
Associations of consumption of sugar-containing beverages with over-weight and obesity among school-age children 8-10 years old in Putuo District,Shanghai
Objective This study was aimed at investigating the associations of consumption of various types of sug-ar-containing beverages with overweight and obesity among school-age students 8-10 years of age,to provide a basis for con-trolling and preventing overweight and obesity,and formulating health intervention policies in this population.Methods Ten primary schools were randomly selected from ten streets in Putuo District,Shanghai.According to a simple random sam-pling method,one class was randomly selected from each of the three to five grades in the school;16 students were randomly selected from each class.The consumption rate,frequency,and amount of sugar-containing beverages,as well as height and weight,were investigated among students 8-10 years of age.Chi-square and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used to compare dif-ferences between groups.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the effect of consumption of sugar-containing beverages on BMI.Results A total of 480 students were surveyed,with an overweight rate of 18.54%and an obesity rate of 15.21%.Average weekly consumption of 100-200 mL 100%fruit juice(OR=2.347,95%CI=1.100-5.005),more than 200 mL fruit juice beverages(OR=2.907,95%CI=1.225-6.894),or 100-200 mL of sugary tea drinks(OR=2.391,95%CI=1.029-5.554)were found to be risk factors for overweight and obesity among 8-10 years old school-age students(P<0.05).Conclusion Increased consumption of sugar-containing beverages among school-age students 8-10 years old may increase their risk of overweight and obesity.
