Research progress in the relationship between online cheating and miss-ing anxiety among college students
Online cheating is characterized by anonymity, concealment, universality, and diversity;its incidence is associated with individual factors such as frequency of Internet use, gender, and age,and is significantly influenced by envi-ronmental factors such as family education and parental conflict.Missing anxiety is closely associated with frequent Internet use, intensification of social comparison behavior, difficulty in decision-making,and mood swings, and is affected by factors such as frequency of Internet use, age, and gender.Missing anxiety manifests primarily as continuous insecurity, intensified social comparison,decision-making difficulties, and emotional fluctuations. As a mediating variable, missing anxiety may in-crease the probability of online cheating by affecting individuals'social needs, mental health, and Internet usage behaviors.Future studies should further explore the interaction mechanism of the two,and seek effective intervention strategies to de-crease the occurrence of network cheating and alleviate the level of missing anxiety in individuals.
