Analysis of the current situation of the Chinese traditional medicine patent application in China and the corresponding suggestions
Through analyzing the current situation of the Chinese traditional medicine patent application in China, we put forward suggestions to solve some problems.Information containing the Chinese traditional medicine patent application in China, the United States, Japan, South Korea as well as the quantities of validity of patent and the types of applicants in China during 2003-2013 were collected.The data were analyzed to conclude the current situation.In recent years, the quantities of the Chinese traditional medicine patent application in our country have increased rapidly, while fewer in foreign countries.The validity has smaller quantity, and the majority of applicants are businesses and personal.The awareness of applying patent has been improved widely in our country,but there are still some problems.We should improve the quality of Chinese traditional medicine, participate in the establishment of criterion of the Chinese traditional medicine patent, consummate the patent system, and fundamentally strength the competitiveness of Chinese medicine industry in our country.
