Research progress on the preparation and new technology strategy of compound active pharmaceutical ingredients
Due to the advantages of efficacy enhancement,dosage reduction,side effects and drug resistance limiting,as well as meeting the treatment needs of complex diseases,combination therapy has gradually become a new trend in clinical treatment.However,complex dosing regimens increase the burden on the patients and may lead to poor patient compliance,and the interaction between multiple drugs also increases the risk to patients.In this case,a fixed compound preparation that combines multiple active ingredients in a certain proportion in the same dosage form has become a new direction for new drug development.This article mainly summarizes some common dosage forms of fixed compound preparations,such as single tablets,multi-layer tablets,coated tablets,multi-particle systems,etc.At the same time,the development of new technologies such as 3D printing technology has effectively resolved the problem of personalized administration of fixed compound preparations.
