Research progress in the chemical composition,pharmacological effects,and quality control of Omphalia Lapidescens
Fungal traditional Chinese medicines are important part of traditional Chinese medicine,which have similar active ingredients.Most fungal traditional Chinese medicines contain proteins,polysaccharides,and small molecule compounds,which have multiple effects.Leiwan is the dried sclerotia of Tricholomataceae fungus Omphalia lapidescens Schroet,and its traditional application is mainly to expel insects.Modern research showed that the main active ingredients of Leiwan include protein,polysaccharide,and small molecular compounds,which have pharmacological effects such as killing insects,anti-tumor,enhancing immune function,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,etc.This article reviews the chemical composition,pharmacological effects,and quality control of Leiwan by reviewing relevant literature.Current quality standards for fungal traditional Chinese medicines in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia were summarized,with the aim of providing reference for the in-depth study of Leiwan and the improvement of quality standards for fungal medicinal materials.
